Introduction

And they created school so as the devil ordered. A child loved nature, so he was captured indoors. He couldn't stay without motion, so he was forced into immobility. He preferred to research and look for knowledge, but he was given it available. And then, children learned something they would never learn under different conditions. They learned to lie and pretend.

My teaching philosophy

  1. Just a study is terrible. Learning is good.
  2. The teacher is not a unique source of everything and can make mistakes.
  3. It is impossible to give an education. You can only get an education.
  4. The teacher is a friend, not the enemy.
  5. Typically schools and universities are delayed comparing our technical progress. Schools should lead and outrun growth. Schools should prepare those who will create the new World.
  6. In the XX century, schools prepared people for routine and one-type work in factories. In the XXI century, schools should develop personalities and revolutionaries of the Universe.

Self assessment

  • I am assessing myself as a flexible, friendly, and responsible person.
  • As a teacher, I hold an ethical distance, but I am open to every student. I respect their needs and questions, even if the topic is not connected to our course.
  • I understand that every student has psychology, experience, life, and opinion. If you are not ready to deal with it, you could not be a teacher.
  • I am building a relationship with groups and personally with each student considering all difficulties, differences, and every person or group characteristic.

Teaching process and planning

Typically I plan my teacher's work when I get the course program. The best recipe for successful teaching and giving material is straightforward, and you should combine theory, life experience, and the newest and latest information about technologies.

In the class, I would like to use many lesson types: lectures, research, writing and answering questions, group works, open-air lessons, consolidated feedback by a teacher, group + student self-assessment.

Study materials

According to every course, I am using the recommended information materials mostly from open and accessible sources. Typically, I prepare my documents by myself, but I will ask if I need my colleague's advice with a better experience in any field.

Feedback

At the end of every course, I am asking for feedback from my students. Feedback with evaluation is anonymous. Feedback criteria: from 1 (very bad) to 5 (very good) and 0 (can’t answer).
